Association Maronite d’Enseignement Arabe au Canada (AMEAC)

DESCRIPTION

The Maronite Association for Arabic Schools in Canada (AMEAC) is a non-profit organism. It overseas the quality of learning the Arabic Language within the Maronite Parishes on the Canadian territory.

MISSION

The mission of the Maronite Association for Arabic Schools in Canada is to supervise, develop and professionalize the teaching services offered by the Maronite establishments based in Canada for teaching the Arabic language.

VISION

The Vision of the Maronite Association for Arabic Schools in Canada is to develop a system of teaching this language in accordance with thirteen educational administrative criteria.

These criteria are internationally recognized so that the learners who attend member – institutions could access a program of unified and well tested education, while respecting the diversity and the cultural specificity in Canada.

OBJECTIVES

  • To assist member – institutions of the AMEAC to structure and/or restructure their educational system and their pedagogical approach.
  • To unify the curriculum and the teaching tools of the Arabic language in all member – institutions.
  • To train the faculty and administrative corps by offering them necessary professional support.
  • To help develop or redevelop the learning premises of the member – institutions.
