Today the Maronite community is the third largest of the 18 Eastern Catholic Churches worldwide with a population close to 3.4 million, after the Syro-Malabar community estimated at around 3.9 million and the Ukrainian community with close to 4.5 million.1
Around 2.5 percent of the global Maronite population of 3,388,543 is in Canada, with a growing population of more than 85,000.
